Dear Parents and Caregivers of Year 4 and 5 students

As you know camp will be very early in term 1 next year - from 14-17 February, (week 3). This is fantastic for the warm summer conditions that will make camp an amazing experience and will really help with relationship development between students, teachers and parents.

The cost for camp is $290 per child. Payment options are:
  • Lump sum of $290 by December 12 or latest February 3rd
  • 5 Monthly payments of $58 – starting in September and finishing in January
  • 10 fortnightly payments of $29 - starting in September and finishing in January
  • You can pay through the EziLunch system

The school bank account number is: 12-3089-0282406-00
Please add your child’s name and camp as the reference (Parent names often differ and we struggle to link the payment to the child).

To help with the costs, we will need parents organising camp fundraising events through till mid next year. These events tag onto the work of the PTA but funds are kept separately from the PTA projects and reduce the cost of camp to parents.

As the recipients of the funds are the 2017 year 5/6 children, we would request your support for the activities in any way you are able to help.  Some of these events are sausage sizzles at Bunnings or the Warehouse, bake for a bake sale or assist cooking sausages at a school event.   Please fill out the attached form to register your interest.

We will need about 20 parents to come with us to ensure we can run the camp activities safely.  If you are interested in helping please let us know on the form that is attached. There is no cost to parents who attend.  Please return the initial permission form so that planning and preparation, already well underway can continue.

Dear Parents and Caregivers of Year 4 and 5 students

It may seem a long way off but camp will be coming up very early in term 1 next year from 14-17 February. (week 3) This is fantastic for the warm summer conditions that will make camp an amazing experience and will really help with relationship development between students, teachers and parents.

Cost for camp is $290 per child.  For many families the fee is a large amount of money to find early in the year following paying for stationery, activity fees, new uniform and the whole summer holiday time.
To help you get started we will need parents organising camp fundraising events through till mid next year.

I would like to have a parent information night in the second to last week of this term to show you photos and share about the opportunities parents and children have at camp.  We will discuss the cost of camp, fundraising, parents attending, parents paying/or not paying and answer any questions you might have.  This meeting is scheduled for Wednesday September 14 at 6PM in the library. Please circle this date on your calendar now to ensure you are free to come.  We can have a video and entertainment space for the children in the library if you need to bring them too.  Expect the meeting to take about 1 hour, tops.

Payment options are:
  • Lump sum of $290 by December 12 or latest February 3rd
  • 5 Monthly payments of $58 –starting in September and finishing in January
  • 10 fortnightly payments of $29 - starting in September and finishing in January

The school bank account number is: 12-3089-0282406-00
Please add your child’s name and camp as the reference (Parent names often differ and we struggle to link the payment to the child).

Thanks you for your support.  If you are a first-time camp parent, welcome to the wonderful world that is camp! See you on Wednesday September 14.
